PTP Provides Logistics Support to LOGSU-1

People, Technology & Processes, LLC (PTP) was recently awarded a task order supporting Logistics Support Unit One (LOGSU-1) and Naval Special Warfare Group One (NSWG-1) providing logistics and sustainment functions.

The mission of NSWG-1 is to Man, Train, Equip, Develop, Deploy, and Sustain Naval Special Warfare Forces to support Combatant Commanders and US national interests. LOGSU-1 is a permanent CONUS-based command co-located with NSWG-1 in Coronado, CA. The mission of LOGSU-1 is to plan, coordinate, integrate, synchronize, and provide logistics support for the Commander, NSWG-1, and its subordinate units to directly support NSW operations and training in peace, crisis, and wartime, at home and forward deployed.

This task order includes support in the areas of inventory management, outboard motor overhaul and maintenance, dive chamber operations and maintenance, parachute rigging, vehicle administration, HAZMAT management, and assisting the Government with conducting inventories, audits, and arms, ammunitions, and explosives (AA&E) support.

This task order is being led by Program Manager Michael “Mike” Ryan, a new addition to PTP, who has 28+ years of Naval Special Warfare experience in various project and program management capacities. “We are honored to have Mike join our team and help us lead not just this task order, but to provide support on the entire M-SOFS vehicle,” said PTP CEO Victor “Vic” Buonamia. “Mike’s expertise is unparalleled, and he is a key player in expanding PTP’s capabilities into maintenance and logistics.”
